Hardin County Jail Mugshots

KRS 61.8746 is the reason commercial mugshot sites are the wrong source for Hardin County booking photos. The records path is the official roster or the official custodian, not a pay-to-remove publisher. For court outcomes after booking, use the court record rather than treating a mugshot as the final case result.
Hardin County Mugshot Retention
No official Hardin County source located a rule stating how long JailTracker booking photos remain public after release. The roster app model includes a released-since value and release-date fields, so the system may support release filters depending on local configuration. That is not the same as an official retention window. The safer answer is that retention for released Hardin County mugshots was not located in official sources.
What is and isn't public: The public roster can show current custody data and may show a booking photo when the public profile displays one. Nonpublic details, exempt records, redacted fields, juvenile records, some investigative material, or records owned by another custodian may be withheld or require a written request.
